About UsIGNITE! Dance & Cheer opened its doors in 2009. The studio, located in Henderson, Nebraska, provides instruction in various styles of dance for students ages three and up including tap, jazz, hip-hop, cheer, ballet, and pointe. While most dance studios offer a "traditional" dance schedule where students attend classes once a week for 8-12 months out of the year, IGNITE! will be offering an alternative schedule in 2011-2012 to better fit the needs of busy families. IGNITE!'s 2011-2012 dance season will likely include two 8-week sessions, where students attend classes once a week for 8 weeks and have a short break before the start of the next session. Because of these unique aspects, IGNITE! offers the most affordable dance program in the area! All costumes and choreography are age-appropriate. Students have an opportunity to perform at our spring recital, as well as at local sporting events and community activities. The studio is owned and operated by Kristen Friesen. Kristen graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000 with a degree in Business Management. She is a third-generation dance instructor and studio owner and has over 17 years of experience in various styles of dance. Kristen is a FiTour Certified Group Exercise Instructor and is also certified in CPR through the American Red Cross. |
