Save the date!  Dance photos with Cat's Cradle Photography have been scheduled for Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.  Dancers are not required to purchase photos; however, please make plans for your child to attend so that the group photo includes all dancers.

December 11, 2010 (Saturday):  Heartland vs. Hampton Basketball Game

Students will be performing routines during halftime of the boys' game.

IGNITE! will hold its 2010/2011 Open House on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  Dancers will have the opportunity to check out the studio and be sized for their recital costumes.  

 As an added convenience, this year students will also have the opportunity to order both shoes and dancewear through the studio.  Shoe sizing kits will be available, and dancers can also preview the dance attire, including leotards, skirts, pants, tights, and more!  To view our full shoe and da...

Rehearsal

• A full dress rehearsal will be held on Saturday, May 1st from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the Heartland School theater. 
• We will start promptly at 9:00 am.  Dancers need to arrive on-time dressed in costume with all props, shoes, etc.

• We will run through our full show at least twice. 

• Please bring along a change of clothes, a labeled hanger (for costume), and a grocery sack (for props/shoes).  At the end of rehearsal, we will leave all costumes/props hanging in the gym so ...

A five-week aerobics class will be offered from March 16 to April 15, 2010.  Classes will be held at the studio twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 am to 6:30 am.  Instruction will be led by Kristen Friesen, FiTour Certified Group Exercise Instructor and CPR certified.

Our costumes have arrived and will be distributed to all dancers on Monday, November 16!

Here are a few tips on how to care for your new dance shoes and pom-pons:

Label All Items
All dance items (shoes, poms, props, costumes, etc) should be clearly labeled with each dancer’s first and last name.  (The easiest way to label dance shoes is to use a permanent marker on the inside of the shoe).
